Thank You Mr Horgan and Mr Eby for doing your best to address the OUT OF CONTROL ENTITLEMENT MENTALITY from people who live in million plus dollar homes and have Range Rovers, BMWs, Mercedes in the driveway. It is time to pay your way!
David Eby you say it will take a lot to stop money laundering two things you can do immediately are close blind trusts and foreign students loophole to avoid taxes one student living in a 31 million dollar home .I am sure some of these students have helped launder money.
I think Mr Eby has made significant efforts to promote transparency on issues like the real estate inflation and casino practices in Vancouver. I think these issues should have been examined years ago by the previous administration (as in Australia for example). Thanks for your diligent work.
Mr. Eby,Due to your government's lack of progress on the ride-hailing file, I will not be supporting you or the BCNDP ever again. You committed to bringing ridehailing by December 2017, that didn't happen. The BCNDP then said it would be here by 2018, now that isn't happening either. Meanwhile, the black market Mandarin ride hailing is growing by the day. It's just ironic that you preach about public safety and proper insurance and protecting the taxi industry when it comes to ridehailing, but you're just making the problem worse by delaying it.You're no better than the BC Liberals.Dan
David Eby and his staff created a warm, welcoming space that felt like a community drop-in space. When I volunteered for his office, people were frequently passing by just to say hello to David or his staff, or ask for help in dealing with issues. David and his staff are excellent listeners, and you can tell how much they care about making Vancouver Point-Grey a great place for all constituents. Can't wait until the office is back open again after the election!
