Old historical station with nice character and easy access to Canada Line SkyTrain, Expo Line SkyTrain, SeaBus, and West Coast Express. Located on the Waterfront of Downtown Vancouver and provides seamless access to Canada Place and the Vancouver Convention Centre.
Built in 1985, this station has a beautiful architecture. Has a small food court down the hall near the Canada Line entrance, and easy access to Expo Line, Canada Line, SeaBus, Helijet, and West Coast Express. One of the great train stations of downtown Vancouver, almost has an architecture in the entrance as beautiful as Pacific Central Station, located near Main Street - Science World station.
Conveniently Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. It is the last stop and a starting point to get trains and sea bus to any destination within greater Vancouver area. Lots of eatery within and outside the station. Nearby attractions are gastown, ocean view, shopping malls and lots of restaurants and food truck places.
Always crowded at 4:30 pmMy complaint is when skytrain breaks down at or near this stop during the evening rush. February 5th was not a good timing.-Ever since they made the gates accepting Visa or MasterCard, people still fare invade by hitching others peoples fare. - not cool to pay for others on your dime. Not enough cameras watching the fare gates for freeloading sad human beings.
Vancouver's main train station done in the clean neoclassical style. Light-filled main hall. Feels small compared to other Union stations but good enough. Hard to find public washrooms though. Needs more retail and shops. Canada Line from YVR terminates here and it's walking distance to the port and several hotels in the area.
