An expanse. A field of green. An eclipse of orange, ferrying great shapes of metal, with strength byond imagining. A glimpse of mountains, snow covered, peppered with a powder that seems so far from familiar. Commuters, without the patience to quietly enjoy what is around them - but - who does? This city packs us so close, but we don't talk to each other. Why don't we talk? Are we afraid? Jaded? Miserable? Is this just our condition? Is this who we are? Is this our legacy? At least we can enjoy the sun. Come to the park, you won't regret it. Live the slow life, just for a little bit. It won't be a mistake.

An underrated gem! It's a really beautiful park, right on the water, nestled among the skyscrapers of downtown. It's rarely unbearably crowded, as other beach spots go downtown. A green nook with a stunning view of the mountains.

A beautiful open area with grass, a small playground and beach. A nice place to bring family and spend the day. The playground has a couple slides, monkey bars and swings. It caters to most ages, but does need to be cleaned as it is a bit dirty. Overall a busy place for dog owners and others who love to sit by the water. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to be for the day.

Downtown Eastside's best and only waterfront park. Great place from which to watch the Canada Day fireworks!! Spectacular views of the harbour and mountains. No concession stand though !

I would consider this is one of the hidden gems around Vancouver. There is a large grassy area for the kids to play and have a picnic. There is a tiny Beach and it overlooks the North Shore and The mountains. I would recommend this place for a nice weekend getaway with the family.
