Mike Stewart helped me buy a condo with my ex, sell that when we split up and buy another condo for myself. My experience was very positive. I think Mike was knowledgeable about the market and helped me along the way with each transaction. Buying a condo on my own was a challenge but Mike was there for me answering questions, checking out properties with me, getting the strata minutes to me quickly and helping me with all the paperwork and details. His team was helpful as I do not own a car. They picked me up and drove me around when I needed to deliver cheques on a timely basis. I feel quite happy about my experience with Mike and his team and would use them again; although I hope I don't have to.
Mike is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. I met him in one of UBC's programs, where he had been invited as a speaker. I was very impressed with him when he sold my house as he provided me with tons of real estate market news and advice and many useful tools on his website. It is a pleasure to work with Mike since he can take care everything for me! I would highly recommend Mike to people looking to buy or sell a house in Vancouver.

I called twice with different phone numbers to ask for the completion date of a pre-sale unit and unfortunately I got hung up twice.
I hired Mike to represent me while purchasing a pre-sale condo in Vancouver. When notices about a homeowners walkthrough from the developer werent sent to me (email address typo), the developers representative went ahead with the inspection without me. Mike was cced on these emails and never noticed the issue or voiced concern when we didnt show up for the walkthrough. When I found out about the missed walkthrough through my lawyer, I asked Mike over email to help me resolve this issue by getting another walkthrough scheduled. He called me to talk to me about the situation and told me he would follow up with the developer and would get back to me. He never contacted me again. I worked with the developer directly and had another walkthrough scheduled. The deal closed, I moved into my new place, and I still have never heard back from him nor have I received any congratulations from himeven though he has received payment from the developer for being my realtor. I am disappointed in his handling of this situation, and his support as my realtor overall. When I go to sell my property I will be looking for a different realtor to represent me.
