Urs and Erika are always the "highlight" of the month! :) Each time I go in, i don't usually have a plan for my hair, but Urs tends to create something which turns into a masterpiece! I always leave happy, my hair is shiny, perfectly coulored and ready to show it off! Erika leaves me with relaxed with an amazing scalp massage that makes you want to come back for more! Wow, does this guy know hair! My first visit to Strands, Urs explained why my hair was damaged, and what needed to be done to get it back to health. Extremely knowledgable, uses only safer products. Results are always amazing! I receive compliments on the cut and colour every time. Highly recommend this salon!
I had the velaterapia (the flame haircut) done for the first time here, and I'm thrilled with the results. Urs and Erika make a fantastic team, and with their humour and expertise, I felt quite comfortable, which is quite important when you're setting your hair on fire! I hadn't even remembered the last time I cut my hair, that's how many split ends I had, and now my hair looks healthy for the first time in a very long time. Thank you both!
The best place in Vancouver for Cold cuts ( flame cut) and thermal cuts. My hair was transformed within 1 week: from lifeless to healthy, shiny and soft. Because the split ends got sealed, my hair is also getting thicker. I am not sure how I managed to live untill now with plain scissor haircuts that have no acctual benefit to hair health. The owner is an artist with 20+ years of experience. They also carry a huge selection of European, botanical, high end hair products that are not available locally ex PHYTO.
