Attentive staff help me get the best price for my purchase of a major appliance. I will definitely shop there again for all my home improvement needs.
Good selection, good prices, friendly staff. One star off because it was difficult to get the bulk price for a box of bolts even though they have shelf labels that say "Buy in bulk and save!" The cash register knew nothing and the contractor's desk cashier knew nothing.
Called the store asking whether there is any 33" fridges. The lady refused to answer that, saying I have to be there. What kind of service is this! Even its Queensborough store has been deteriorating.
Had a pretty bad experience here within the first few minutes of being in the building. I picked out a barbeque and my girlfriend asked someone to help us get one in a box. The first person she asked ended up helping someone else, so we had to ask again. This time the person had to look on the computer and then dissapeared for a while. In the meantime i looked on all of the top shelfs until i found the barbeque i had picked. I asked someone else at the customer service desk where the guy went and that the barbeque i wanted was right nearby. The other guy that dissapeared now came back from wherever he went and saw the barbeque on the top shelf where i said it was. Now that the guy had located the barbeque it was very slow process with no sense of urgency to get the forklift in position and retreive my bbq; it ended up taking about a half hour in total for the whole ordeal. I purchased the barbeque, got home and realized that they had not given me my free cover that the bbq was advertised to be included! I now had to go all the way back to lowes just to get the cover. This was the first time i had been into the new store now that its lowes and it will also be my last.
Garfield the Miner-Guy gave me possibly the worst customer service I've ever received. He kept dropping fridges and yelling "WHAT'S MY NAME?!" and chasing me and my four year old son. I would definitely buy from this establishment again.
