Hands down the best place to shop the most beautiful diamonds. Not only do they have the most brilliant diamonds, their customer service is second to none. If I could give them 6 stars I would in a heart beat. Helen has been exceptional and very patient with us. My wife and I were shopping for an upgrade of her engagement ring. At first, we went to Spence since I purchased the original diamond there but Spence was not even remotely close to how De Beers treat any potential client that walks into the store. Right from our first step in De Beers, Helen welcomed my wife, our two kids, and I. She was very knowledgeable and never once pressured us into buying anything. At first we were shocked when we saw the prices of the diamonds but after shopping around at other stores like Tiffany, Birks, and Cartier we kept coming back to De Beers as their diamonds have the best fire and Best customer service. Our kids love going to De Beers as they get pampered with cookies. Helen went above the call of duty when she surprised my kids each with a crayon/marker drawing kit. That was priceless. I think it was the third visit to De Beers and with Helen when we decided to make the plunge. Helen made it easy for us to find the perfect engagement ring . We were so happy with the purchase that we decided to upgrade me and my wifes wedding bands as well. It just made sense to do that especially at De Beers. Not sure if I would have felt the same way at other stores. De Beers just makes you feel very comfortable and at the same time very special. I especially love their back room where my family can just relax on the three couches, drink their great tea/coffee, and take our time to look at their out of this world diamonds. When we got the text message from Helen stating that my wifes engagement ring has arrived, we were so happy and could hardly wait to pick it up the next day. I forgot to mention that Helen also did her magic in meeting our timeline as my wife wanted to wear her new ring at an event that is coming up in a few days. Helen had a very short time window and still she was able to get the ring in on time. Not only were we extremely happy with how everything worked out when we picked up the rings, Helen once again went above the call of duty by surprising us with a gift. It was beautifully tied with a blue De Beers ribbon. Even the boxes that the rings came in were gorgeous. One was tied with a pink ribbon (my wifes) and the other one in blue ribbon(mine). She then videoed my wife and I exchanging the rings on our fingers . I will NEVER buy any diamond rings from any store except De Beers going forward. They have met and far exceeded my expectations in terms of product and customer service. I just cant wait to upgrade my wifes engagement ring again. Thank you so so much Helen for everything. Exceptional service and outstanding engagement ring. Helen went out of her way to research the inventory and generate a shortlist of stones that fit my criteria. Compared to other major stores that I visited, the service here was more attentive, more quality focused, and less commercial. I had a fixed schedule with regard to my proposal, and Helen was very flexible with regard to meetings and picking up the ring, coming in on her day off. Finally, my fiancee was thrilled with the final product, and overall we are both very pleased with the experience. Would recommend without hesitation.
Whenever you go into really high end stores, it's hard to connect with the sales associates because you constantly feel like there's an air of judgement just due to how expensive the items are. That really isn't the case at De Beers, the customer service is exceptional, they make you feel so comfortable and are willing to show you every range of pieces (from a few thousand to a few hundred thousand) without any sales pressure or judgment. Julia was responsible for helping me and was amazing at teaching me all about diamonds and what separates a mediocre diamond from something really amazing. She showed me pieces on the IRIS machine and inspected the diamonds for inclusions with a magnifying glass. The entire selection process took over three days and she even offered to come in on her day off to better suit my schedule. Awesome experience, please ask for her when you come in!
