Beautiful, spacious, water front located park. Suitable for family, friends, and couple hang out. Very close to Yaletown, Granville island, and Granville entertainment district. Pets, bikes, and skating boards allowed. Peaceful and beautiful environment.
this is my current favourite downtown park. love the water feature, the playground for the littles, and most of all the huge grassy space with trees for shade. I actually like that it's not officially an off-leash park; if it were, it would get promptly destroyed (see Cooper's as an example). nice spot to toss the ball around with the pups and picnic with the baby.
Named after one of Vancouver's founding fathers, George Wainborn Park stands as a monument to the Eternal Children of the Hunt, one of the greatest tragedies in Vancouver's great history. Although there isn't much in the way of a display in the park, I'm glad such an important event was commemorated.
HUGE grassy area, the best unofficial off leash dog park by far! Beautiful setting, view and it's right on the seawall. Why are you reading this review? Go there!
Off leash dog park with a beautiful water feature and simple playground surrounded by a contemplative and peaceful view of False Creek on the waterside and towering hi rise residences behind. An urban oasis accessible from downtown or the seawall bike/walking path.
