Convenient location with bus located at the front door. Reasonable prices and well stocked with great local produce including a selection of organics. Household cleaning products are the only thing I would recommend checking elsewhere for. Free and adequate parking located on site, and in nearby streets. Accepts cash, debit or credit payments.
Small to medium size grocery store. Prices are way better than Superstore or other local grocery stores, but sometimes you can't find what you're looking for either because they don't carry it, or because they're out of stock (which happens a lot). Often, items on sale aren't on the shelves and employees working there aren't much help. Wait times at the cashier can take a while. They also don't accept Visa. If you're able to find what you're looking for, then this is a good relatively cheap place to get your groceries in Vancouver.
Pretty good for a neighborhood grocery store. Sometimes aren't stocked with what we need but have most of what we need all the time. Small and smallish selections of meat and bakery items but overall a good place to get your weekly grocery items at very competitive prices. Line up for checkouts can be slow at times.
Our family loves the no frills store, but unfortunately this one lacks in selection and stock. That being said, EVERYTHING available is less expensive than any other grocery store. Staff is friendly and apologetic about the many items out of stock. I have been there 3 times in one week to discover still no salted No name butter... I think we will shop at the one on broadway near cambie.
A very nice lady named Usaki (I believe) went to the back and dug out chopped spinach for me. I left word for management. She could have easily just said the store was out of stock. Great service at Dean's No Frills
