On Oct. 25th, our front door key wouldn't go into lock while my Wife and I were away at work. Our daughter had to contact them asking for replacement of the lock. The entire time the three of us exchanged texts and approved this company to take care of the problem. Initially, at 1:15pm, Angel said he would arrive after 5:00pm. At 3:26pm, he called saying, "If I can come now, it will be cheaper than quoted". He was in for less than 40 minutes. He billed us an additional Labor charge last minute, besides the initially quoted Service Call charge of $65, bringing the total cost to $195 (approx.). Since no repairs to the lock was warranted, but just lock replacement, he shouldn't have charged the added service charge. It didn't cost us any less for bringing him right away as he had originally assured but, we ended up paying more than their competition. We regret for giving them the job. Beware!
The guy swears 100% on his handiwork and the bunch of times I've been there to get key cuts, I haven't been disappointed. Very nice guy too! I used to try to get keys cut at random shoe repair shops etc but they never worked. This guy is the real deal! Tip: call ahead to see if he's open as he sometimes does emergency house calls in the middle of the day.
Highly recommended. They are friendly and go above and beyond. Having come in to get a key copied, the owner ended up filing my other keys to improve their function and provide a very specialized screw for my door handle that had gone missing, all for no extra charge. I will proudly support great local businesses, and this one goes above and beyond. Outstanding!
