I LOVE BISHOP'S. This has been a (very) fine dining restaurant in Vancouver for many years, and is as good today as it was the very first time we went. Congratulations to John for his accomplishments, and to the staff for representing his vision so well. Thank you is my understatement of the week
Bishop's has been around for as long as it has as it is a rarity in consistent excellence in customer service in combination with superlative culinary delivery. John has done an amazing job and his down to earth friendly nature is a breathe of fresh air in a pretentious city. This will always be a favourite of ours. Vancouver's best.
On one hand this is a real prim and proper place and they give the kind of classic customer service you expect from a fine dining establishment yet they're also adaptable and didn't treat us any differently despite being casually dressed (even wearing a cap). Service was very attentive and food was prepared well. While we were allowed to order additional items a la carte, the menu is presented as a 3 course meal. Quiet space and good to come to have a conversation over your meal. Stiff cocktails.

I had a fabulous dining experience @ Bishop's. I loved the simplicity of the menu with a small selection of carefully curated chef's choices. The servers and sommelier were superb and have such a personal touch to the experience. I can't wait to go back and sample another menu.
