Fantastic vegetarian brunch! I wish Calgary had a place like this. Yes the portions aren't large but the flavour and quality more than make up for it. Props for serving Phil and Sebastian coffee. The Fried Egg breakfast was delicious and I loved the rosti the fried egg was served on. Well done!
Very cool space! Love a vegetarian/vegan restaurant that doesn't try to make the dishes taste like meat. Quality food focused, lots of local produce. Amazing flavours and both vegan and gluten-free options. Really tasty, great service and great cocktail menu. I would skip dessert next time, but if you're a fruit or flan person, you might like the offerings. Can't wait to go back.
So romantic and the food is very special. Maybe sits 75 people, plus a small bar, so you get a cozy, special feeling being there. Picked it as the place to propose along with the Chef's Special and a bottle of champagne. Unforgettable night.
This place deserves a star. The food tasted amazing, the presentation was lovely and each course complimented the next. The creativity of each dish left our whole table in wonder. We will definitely be recommending the acorn and coming back soon!
What an absolute gem!! I'm not a vegetarian or a vegan by any means, and this placed was unreal. The flavors and versatility of this menu was so unique. Put on top the great wine selections and custom drinks by their bartender Nick..... unmatched. This is a must do on your Vancouver restaurant bucket list. Thanks to the chefs and entire staff on a perfect evening!!
