Amazing tasting seafood. I had halibut last week that was mouth watering. Went with a group of 12. Amazing service. Excellent location. Desert was a knock out as well. Prices are decent for location and food quality
We came to this nice restaurant 3 times in a row. The meals were from decent to outstanding.My favorite dish was the cedar wood grilled wild salmon from the fresh seafoods menu.Matt, the restaurant manager is a very kind and caring host who took lots of time to listen which effected in an amazing dining experience.The Sandbar has a beautiful top level where you have a nice sight over false creek and the skyline of Vancouver.Thank you so much for everything,Bernard and Valentin from Munich
Took my fiance here for her birthday, i heard so many great things about this place and it was in a great location, granville island,.. good thing the view was great, unfortunately although our hostess was nice, our service wasn't very good. our drinks took forever, our appetizers were cold when it got to our table, my wife ordered the mussels and fries and most of the mussels that was served were closed so she couldn't eat it, and my albacore tuna was overcooked. quite disappointed with this meal. unsure if we would ever come back to this place.
If you or your loved one are looking for a great seafood dinner then you have come to the right place. I had the full crab and yeah the price seem kinda high but let me tell you something. If you want great tasting crab that is also an adventure to eat, then this crab is for you. Atmosphere is also great. Do yourself a favor and get your seafood here.
I absolutely love this place. Great food and great service. The drinks however could use a little work. I had a old fashioned and they used brown sugar granules that did not dissolve at all. At first the drink was good but towards the end it was unbearably sweet. Had to ask for a drink to be made with simple syrup. But the server did understand and took it off my bill.
