Terrible customer service. Wanda ? She is rather rude and unfriendly. Don’t know how they hire some many of their rude staff. Maybe it’s time for a management change. Hopefully the owner (s) are reading all these reviews.
Horrible place! I bought an electric scooter at Christmas time & it stopped working in about 6 weeks. I took it back to try to exchange or return it & was told to send it back to the manufacturer for warranty. So much for their '1 year warranty' it says on the receipt. I said 'no problem' but when I was leaving, the manager stopped me at the door and accused me of stealing. They were being rude while saying they didn't see me bringing it in on CCTV. When I showed the receipt for the THIRD time, the manager, Steven, finally looked at the date. After reviewing the CCTV, it showed that I DID have the item when entering. Hardly an apology or anything! I have never been so embarrassed in my life!
We came to get a few plants from the garden centre.They had good plants on sale. But, nobody knew anything about plants. So we were on our own.We found several plants gor our garden.It is a good store but not too many staff helping customers.
Normally service in the store is average with some rare excellent staff but this Saturday evening was appalling. Staff did not follow through with acknowledgement to assist. The worst was at the check out where the young man did not acknowledge the customer nor thanked the customer. The customer said thank you and "have a good night", to which the cashier not return the salutation and began a conversation with another staff. Canadian Tire needs to provide some serious training for their staff with some fundamental courteous customer interactions. This will be my last time shopping at this store.
A good selection of products. Staff has always been very helpful. We find Canadian Tire sale prices are better than most. I prefer because of the parking. When you do make a purchase it is easy to take to the car and load. Great kitchen supply selection that the wife likes. Worth a visit.
Large store over 2 levels. Lots of parking, easy access. In mall with several other big box stores. Well stocked. Good nursery section. Large automotive department Good luck if you need assistance on floor, but that's typical canadian tire. Usually fast check out.
