The room was clean, minus a little bit of a mold smell. Couldn't find a vent fan in the bathroom. So I'm guessing it's related. The huge frosted window I'm the bathroom was a plus, and the road noise was minimal. You can easily hear people in the hall and walking on the floor above you. It didn't seem to be too much of an issue until morning cleanings started.

Very central location in downtown Vancouver. Good breakfast including usual bacon + eggs etc. Friendly staff as well. Would recommend!

Guess what? You get to carry your bags up steps at the entry, and the entry doors open toward you. The front desk staff charges $200 for incidental fees and there are signs posted in the elevator about eviction from rooms for disobedience of all sorts. If that doesnt say enough, take a look at the homeless crackheads about. Oh, and the rooms...well...Ive had to stay in a few Motel 6 locations that are nicer. Dilapidated furnishings, cramped rooms, item placement that clearly was just put wherever. Surely the tour Im on could afford nicer accommodations but chose not to. Simply cannot wait to check out!!!

Don't bother, this hotel offers no value for money, unless you're going out clubbing til the early hours. I appreciate Vancouver hotels are expensive but this place is terrible. So to start you have the $200 deposit, which will take 5-21 days to be returned. This was our third hotel of the trip and the first to charge this high amount. When questioned we were told the Fairmont deposit is $1000, so should we be thanking them?!? The breakfast is tasteless, and you get to sit at a pub bar area to eat it, with coffee so weak it couldn't rip a paper bag. You also have to get a breakfast voucher each day from reception. My biggest warning is that if you stay on a weekend demand a room on the top floor. We were on the first floor and the noise was horrendous, like a party outside your door all night. It comes from the pub next door that the hotel is partnered with and went on til 3-4am.We mentioned it the next day and were told "it is the entertainment district so noise can happen" and blame was quickly shifted on to us for not wanting to move rooms at 2am.

A great pub that provides free breakfast buffet when staying at the comfort inn. It also provides a free drink during certain hours and the night life gets better. The food and beer selection were great, I recommend the wings, braised beef poutine and nachos. The service is great too and a convenient location for night life in the heart of downtown.
