The only reason there getting a 1 star is because the room and the view were not bad and comfortable. I stayed 1 night and my grandparents stayed 4 nights. The room did not include breakfast. It seemed almost most people had the breakfast included. The other thing is they included 1 pair a slippers and there was 2 people staying the room. We inquired with the front desk and they said for the additional pair it was $5. The room isn't cheap either and this was something they didn't include and breakfast. We were not happy, we contacted the management and have not received any call back or e-mail. It's been about 2 weeks.
I had a wonderful experience here! The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially since I'm from the US and have never been to Vancouver before. They also exchanged our American currency too without any problem. The room service was prompt and friendly and the room was clean and modern. Considering this was one of the cheaper hotels in town, I think we did pretty good! I'd love to stay here again if I visit Vancouver in the future.
Very good hotel!Big rooms, very clean, nicely styled.Nice swimming pool to jump in after a day in the city. Enough towels to get.Close to the train station so good location.Breakfast buffet was very nice as well.We really enjoyed our stay.
Attended a professional event with catering from the hotel. Food was good and service was excellent, would attended again. Event was hosted in the oak room. Bathrooms were always clean and pens/paper was provided by the hotel which was very helpful. Water always available during meeting.
Pool was very cold. No hot tub. Over priced. Food in restaurant was cheaply made and over priced. My rare steak came well done. The kids meal sides were wrong and I was told that's how it comes but the menu was different. The beds weren't great. The ac was loud and the room was still too hot. It is a 2 star hotel with 4 star prices. We were told we got free upgrades that they charged us for and were asked for our cocktail voucher at the restaurant which we were never offered. It was like they give free things to others and we missed out.
