Not a good experience at all! Shower didn't drain very well so we stood in ankle deep water when we showered. Water temperature was not consistent in any way. Ants were all over the room. Glad we only booked one night!
This hotel is VERY basic! Beds and rooms were clean. Washroom is extremely tiny and has no counter space at all. Shower was ..... umm unique and very very very tiny, I decided not to use it as I'm over 6 feet tall. The room was VERY expensive for what it was. The hotel was okay in an absolute pinch.
I gave it one star but if I could Id give it none and I never advise any respectable person to stay in this hotel. This is the worst hotel Ive been to. I checked into my room and I was in a rush to leave so I left my makeup on the bedside table (let me tell you...its expensive) and when I came back, room service had cleaned my room and my makeup was nowhere to be seen. I looked everywhere for it and when I didnt find it I went to ask the front desk about it. They told me they will look into it but they didnt. I even asked two different ladies at two different shifts and they were extremely unhelpful. I asked a few times and they either ignored me or dismissed me, and honestly it seemed like theyre used to complaints like this. Finally one time when I asked, the lady at the front desk answered me very rudely that this didnt happen before which means that my stuff wasnt stolen but where did it go? I looked everywhere! She didnt even want to ask the housekeeper about my stuff and then later seemed to avoid me throughout the rest of my stay. Im extremely disappointed and will never be returning here again.
The gentleman at the desk when I checked in was lovely and so helpful. The room seems small and it is an older building but very clean and comfy. The garden in the center of the building is very serene.
Everything was more or less as expected for a Days Inn. Beds were nice and clean, 24 hour check in was very convenient. Area was a little sketchy, AC was turned up way too high when we came in, so I turned on the heater and it made our room reek of burning hair. Their were also hairs on my towel, in the shower, and all over the floor which was kind of gross. The gentleman working at night was nice, but the daytime front desk was not friendly at all. The inner garden area was really nice, and the price was fitting for a standard queen with a fridge and a tv(which kept randomly shutting off?.. But whatever.) The breakfast was pretty standard continental but overall it was a good stay.
