Stayed here on a business trip. The staff were very organized and check-in and check-out was a breeze. The hotel is located near the main business district in the heart of downtown vancouver. The room (607)was spacious and clean, however the view was looking into the roof of the adjacent building. The housekeeping staff were friendly and quick to my request for extra water. I would stay here again for business.
Hotel is conveniently located near Gastown and across from Harbour Centre. Rooms are new and modern with suite style configuration consisting of a separate living room and washroom. Beds are great with high quality mattress and sheets.Would definitely stay again.
Very very very impressed with the staff at this hotel. Everyone from the truly awesome front desk staff, the house keeper, restaurant and lounge was fantastic. Even when there was only one elevator running for a short period one morning, the staff was manually running the elevator inside to skip floors when it was packed with people which saved a lot of time for everyone. It's an older building (hence the faulty elevator) but it's very well taken care of throughout and the rooms are newly renovated. The staff deserve ten stars. It's a great location across from the lookout (where you can see great views of the city) and we were able to walk anywhere in the city within 25 minutes. Breakfasts were great and so were the drinks in the lounge. Strongly recommend this place.
I always enjoy staying at the Marriott. It is one of few hotel chains that I trust to always be clean, comfortable, and professional. I really enjoyed my suite at this hotel, is was lovely and very comfortable. The location is extremely convenient and I really enjoyed visiting the rotating restaurant that is very close to this hotel. The Christmas decor was adorable as well. When I want to be sure that Ill have a good trip, I always stay at the Marriott.
My car window was smashed in the hotel parking garage last night and was discovered as an unwelcome surprise this morning... Donnie from the Concierge desk was my absolute saving grace. He kept me calm in the lobby, grabbed me a coffee then went out to take care of cleaning up the glass in order to make the car drive-able to the repair facility. He took the time to break off all the pieces that could have made driving it dangerous and vacuumed with extreme care. He deserves more than 5 stars! I can't thank him enough for his kindness during a distressing time. Thank you also to the hotel front end team for reimbursing my parking fee and to the hotel for a lovely stay in the room. I will return and valet the car next time.
