The staff and vets here are super friendly and take great care of the animals that come through. We've taken our puppy here several times for emergencies and for shots. Would highly recommend this place for your pet emergencies. That being said, every time we've been here there's been an issue with admin that we've either caught right away and had to have fixed or else something that's come up and that we've had to call back and ask to have fixed after the fact. For example, we've been billed wrongly several times, or our vaccinations paperwork and sometimes paperwork for insurance claims has had the wrong dates. They've all been relatively easy fixes and the staff are very helpful at changing things, so this is more a forewarning: if you go here, just make sure you check any paperwork you receive before you leave because it's way easier to get it fixed then and there then weeks later over the phone. We've also found that their prices are a little higher compared to other vets in the area and there can be high waiting times if you go in and there's an emergency. Still a great place!
Absolutely amazing place! The staff were very polite and knowledgeable. The Veterinarian was very observant of my senior dog and his needs. Gentle control of my animal and very informative people! 24 hours and free parking!!Free Parking!
Our dog got in a tussle with a raccoon in our backyard shortly before midnight. He had a cut on paw, was limping, but he would not allow us to check him out all over, so we brought him in to Burrard Animal Hospital to have a vet check him out. He was seen within 10 minutes, thoroughly examined. Luckily he had only a minor cut on his paw and no other injuries. They prescribed antibiotics and now a week later, he's fine. The Hospital was open and well staffed late at night. The staff were very good, explained everything and quickly gained our trust. The clinic was very clean. Would go back again if ever there is another emergency. I was surprised that the cost was just the same as his standard annual check up at our regular vet - there were no after-hours fees or extra emergency charges.
The worst place I have ever seen in my life. Extremely slow receptionist at a critical time, staff with no compassion whatsoever, yelled and rolled their eyes at my daughter who was crying, very disrespectful when talking to her. Bad, bad customer service. I DO NOT recommend it. I will never ever go there again. Other people who were there could not believe their eyes and ears.Too bad there are 0 stars. No stars for them. Horrible experience.
They took care of the last moments of my cat a few weeks ago. My cat ended up needing two surgeries and intensive care until we decided that it was best to let him go. They followed up with me every single day or night, gave me directions on what was the best path to take and what was happening. They answered EVERY CALL. I loved how caring they were during the whole process. It's incredible to see how a 24h animal hospital can keep the quality level AT ALL TIMES - everyone in there, from the veterinarians to the receptionists and technicians LOVE what they do. I will definitely come back, not only for emergencies and would recommend the Hospital for anyone looking for what's best for their pets.
