We've been clients here for two years with a pretty needy kitten/cat. Our cat has stayed at the Cat's Only "hotel" twice and been seen by several of the vets for a range of reasons, from a check-up to a medical emergency. They even helped us get all of our paperwork in order to move our cat overseas. Honestly, I only have great things to say about all of the staff that work here, including (and especially) the receptionists and vet techs who have gone out of their way to make my cat and myself feel comfortable.
Personally, I wish I had never stepped into this place. Lack of experienced vets and questionable/inflexible booking practice (for some reason, they took every opportunity to push us to their emergency hospital on W. 7th and Alberta). We had been their clients for almost 4 years up till June 2018 both at their cat hotel & clinic because they claim they specialize in cats. BUT at the end, we probably lost our tabby recently due to their lack of experienced vets. We were blind-sided by their claim. I am beyond heart broken...
Took my cat in for a diagnosis related to sudden onset of alopecia. Booked appointment online five days in advance with no issue and was called 48 hours prior to confirm. On-site experience was equally pleasant and hassle-free. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and took time to explain potential causes of symptoms while walking me through care options. I was particularly impressed with aftercare and follow-ups.Cats Only is on the higher end of the price spectrum, but for good reason.
This place has always been great I've been taking my cats here for years I even had one cat put down there after having him for 20 years and they were very compassionate and kind.
Everyone here is so dedicated & caring for all our cats. The compassion & empathy shown when we've had to say goodbye meant the world to us at such difficult times. They take the time to listen to concerns & clearly explain all the options & associated costs before proceeding with treatment. Big thanks especially to Dr. Ko, Dr. Ozeki, Dr. Maclean & Dr. Armstrong for always providing great care. The staff take the time to not only make our kitties comfortable but also make sure the fur parents are looked after too.
